The tournament — a brainchild of AIFF match commissioner Aparup Chakraborty — spanned five months (22nd December 2018 to 5th May 2019) and saw the participation of nearly 350 players, both male and female, across three age groups: under-9, under-11, and under-13. The chief guest at the event was former mental conditioning coach of the Indian junior hockey team Mreenal Chakraborty, who was part of the support staff that helped the Indian team win the Men’s Hockey Junior World Cup in 2016....

According to the Daily Mail, England’s fixtures in the West Indies will start six days early - from the 22nd of January. England’s five-match T20 series in the Caribbean, initially concluding on the 5th of February, will now end on the 30th of January. Around the world a ravenous appetite for stocks has pushed markets from Austria to New Zealand up sharply over the past month. Responding to the passage of Bill Clinton’s deficit-reduction bill, the Dow itself rose to record heights, hitting 3583 before closing the week at 3569. Even the once ravaged Tokyo stock exchange has experienced a steady recovery; the Nikkei index has risen more than 25 percent since January. Some analysts confidently grabbed the bull by the horns....

Ekblad left last Thursday’s game against the Ducks after an awkward fall during a collision on the wall. He could not put any weight on his right leg as he was helped off the ice. Ramsey shone during Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph – their first trophy in nine years.
