There is an emerging consensus that government has an interest in, and a right to attempt, behavior modification among those who are sunk in dependency on public assistance. So there is a need to know more about what government can legitimately do to nurture in citizens the character traits requisite for personal independence. There is a less sentimental and less politically timid assessment of what constitutes “caring.” Americans are recurring to the Victorian distinction between the “deserving” and “undeserving” poor....

Yes, the Packers created this situation after drafting Jordan Love in 2020. But the “will he or won’t he?” is being dragged on by the quarterback himself. This feels eerily similar to a situation that happened back in early 2008. The Packers had just gone 13-3 and advanced to the NFC Championship Game with Brett Favre at quarterback. Yet the team fell in overtime to the New York Giants in what was a crushing loss....

The relationship between quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are seemingly beyond repair, with reports suggesting that he could be out of Green Bay as soon as this weekend. Amidst a reported contract dispute, drama between Rodgers and the Packers has come to a boil heading into the first night of the 2021 NFL Draft, scheduled to get underway at 8 p.m. ET on April 29. But as the trade talk heats up, there are three reported teams where Rodgers could go in the coming days....

Blue Box Game Studios has released an image that shows the Abandoned logo along with the “Realtime Experience” that’s coming next month. For the uninitiated, the Abandoned Realtime Experience is an app that will go live on August 10. Later in August, the app will be how those interested in Abandoned can see a new trailer for the game. Pre-load will apparently be available starting July 29, though the app has been delayed in the past and there’s always a chance it could get pushed back again....
