The delay would suggest that Xbox One exclusive could compete with Sony’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Both games were supposed to be out later this year, but slipped until 2016. The Legend of Zelda Wii U is another game that has been postponed to 2016.

Tons of games such as Assassin’s Creed Unity, Driveclub and Halo: The Master Chief Collection were shipped with network errors, bugs and glitches. The fact that Quantum Break has been delayed to 2016 would suggest that the game would be error-free when it is released.

Greenberg also noted that losing Quantum Break from the fall 2015 lineup is not a huge loss. According to him Microsoft has tons of games planned, that are to be released this year. Xbox One’s Holiday lineup includes Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6.
