First Adaptive eSports Tournament to Take Place In 2021
Logitech G is revisiting last year’s Adaptive eSports Invitational with a brand new tournament; the Adaptive eSports Tournament 2021, according to the Logitech G Adaptive eSports page at challonge.com.
The initiative, in partnership with The AbleGamers Charity, Mount Sinai, and adaptive Action Sports, will see gamers who live with disabilities going up against each other to show off their gaming mettle.
The tournament, which is the first event in an ongoing league, will start in Autumn 2021. It continues the Rocket League precedent that Logitech G and partners set with the Adaptive eSports Invitational back in 2020.
If you are a gamer who lives with a disability, and you’d love to get involved, you can register via the Challonge website linked above.

Fans of the Rocket League franchise will be particularly interested in this tournament, although whether future tournaments will feature different games is something to also keep an eye on.
However, as this is an ongoing league, it would suggest that you’ll need to join the fun from the start and work your way through the tournaments if you are to be in with a chance of claiming glory at the top of the league table.
Who Are the Partners in the Logitech G Adaptive eSports Tournament?
First up is The AbleGamers Charity. Its aim is to:
The charity also provides assistive technologies for gamers living with disabilities, even allowing those with limited motor abilities to experience all manner of things that individuals without disabilities often take for granted, like walking or swimming, all through VR.
The next partner is Mount Sinai, which the website describes as:
No doubt you will have already heard of Mount Sinai outside of eSports tournament news. The third partner is Adaptive Action Sports which, according to the website, is:
With all of this experience behind it, it is hard to imagine the Adaptive eSports League being unsuccessful. It is a brilliant initiative which all gamers should get behind and show support for.
A Fantastic Venture from Logitech G
There is no doubt that anything that makes gaming a more inclusive space is a worthwhile undertaking. Hats off to Logitech G for building on the foundations laid by the 2020 invitational and creating a fully fledged league for gamers who live with disabilities.
