Fans of Twitch streamer Sebastian “Forsen” Fors are no strangers to pranks, and that’s no different with a recent prank they concocted to get ABC news to wish Dr Disrespect a happy (belated) birthday. The ABC news station in question was ABC 9, and it was convinced to air a photo of Dr Disrespect alongside a birthday message for the two-time.

Twitch’s community of Forsen fans are well known for pranking people. Typically, his community convinces people to wish Forsen a happy birthday or congratulations for something he didn’t do. It’s uncommon for Forsen and his fans to get birthday wishes sent to other streamers through broadcasting companies, but they are known to pull pranks on unsuspecting streamers, social media users, and more. Members of the Twitch community have successfully pranked other small news stations such as ABC 9 in order to spread messages about Forsen, xQc, and more.

Using Dr Disrespect’s real name, Guy Beahm, ABC 9 wished Dr Disrespect a happy birthday from his supposed son Sebastian and wife Nina. The additional twist, on top of Beahm’s birthday taking place earlier this year, is the fact that Sebastian is the real name of Forsen and Nina is the real name of his girlfriend, showing how many layers there are to the prank. The birthday message sent to ABC 9 also included a reference to Dr Disrespect’s catchphrase of “violence, speed, momentum” when the anchor wished Dr Disrespect more momentum and success in his 40s.

“Guy! Happy Birthday Guy, here’s to your 40s they say, bringing you even more momentum and success,” said the ABC 9 news anchor. “Keep on being a champion. This comes from the love of your life and your beautiful family – your wife Nina and baby boy Sebastian. Happy Birthday, Guy!”

The photo included with the ABC 9 birthday wish showed Dr Disrespect out of character, and it honored the Champions Club, the name of Dr Disrespect’s fan base. Dr Disrespect has been the focus of many conversations since his Twitch ban and pranks like this one from Forsen and his community continue to keep the two-time in the spotlight.

While it may be surprising to see news reporters being tricked by people like Forsen and his community, these smaller stations based in suburbs have become immortalized by mistakes like this Dr Disrespect one. Dr Disrespect isn’t a native of New York, as the YouTube sensation is based out of California. Considering the combination of a small news studio and Dr Disrespect’s lacking presence in the area, it makes sense that a prank like this succeeded.
